Jumpstart Your Wellness Routine: a 5 Day Challenge

Hi friends and Happy New Year!

I hope you are recovered from beautiful holidays and that you’re slowly settling into your rhythms for the new year. Slowly but surely, we are getting there.

One of the biggest resolutions I always see this time of year has to do with health and wellness. My feed is always full of declarations along the lines of prioritizing self care, focusing on health, eating better, making more time for yourself, exercising…

As wellness has grown to be a huge piece of my heart over the last year, I'm often asked where the best place to begin is, or what is the most important thing to change when cleaning up your lifestyle. With all the various aspects of being well and all the information (and misinformation!) out there, the idea of wellness living can feel so overwhelming. I have been there myself!

The most important piece of a wellness lifestyle is your mindset, which I believe is similar to that of a growth mindset. You aren’t stuck where you are at or with the genes you have. Your attitude will effect your choice and commitment to a healthy state of being and the fact that you are even wanting to start making new or more healthy choices for yourself and/or your family is so exciting and half the battle!

The other important thing to remember is that a wellness lifestyle is a journey. It is little choices over time that get you to where you want to go and feeling the way you want to feel!

My dear friend Erin (@encouragingwellness)  and I wanted start this challenge. We want to give you an easy, approachable jumpstart to your wellness journey. We are going to give you one challenge a day. Just one! One new and simple thing you can do each day for five days that will have a huge impact on your health and wellness. Each task will be attainable and something you can continue to implement moving forward that will be huge (!) pieces to your wellness lifestyle.
